Hodler Exits Flair Plastic via Share Swap with Vertikal Group
2025-12-15
Hodler has exited its investment in Flair Plastic through a share swap transaction with Vertikal Group Nyrt., a Budapest Stock Exchange-listed environmental and waste management company. Under the terms of the deal, Vertikal Group acquired 100% ownership of Flair Plastic, with Hodler receiving a 10% equity stake in Vertikal Group in return.
Vertikal Group is one of Hungary’s leading waste management operators, active in municipal waste collection and the operation of waste handling facilities across the Budapest, North-East Hungary, and North-Transdanubia regions. The company serves as a key contracted partner of Mohu, the national waste management concession operator.
The transaction allows Hodler to convert its stake in Flair Plastic into a holding in a publicly listed, diversified environmental platform — reflecting the firm’s flexible approach to value realisation and portfolio management.
