Protena

Protena (formerly UBM Feed Romania) is Romania's largest independent feed mill, established in 2019 as a greenfield project. Operating from a state-of-the-art production facility, it works closely with both group companies and third-party customers and suppliers.

In 2019, UBM Feed Romania inaugurated the country's largest independent feed mixing plant. With an hourly capacity of 30 tons and an annual output of 220,000 tons, the facility ranks among the largest in Central and Eastern Europe and operates with some of the most advanced technology in the region.

The plant produces poultry, swine, and ruminant feed, playing a significant role in the development of the regional agricultural sector.
