Gerbrant has been working for Hodler Asset Management since 2023, contributing in various capacities. From 2023 to 2024, he focused on supporting the Romanian and Serbian poultry operations as a board member of the respective local entities. In 2025, he assumed oversight of the Serbian poultry operation, leading its modernisation programme. He currently serves as an adviser to Hodler's founder.
Prior to joining Hodler, Gerbrant held CEO positions at two major dairy companies: Royal FrieslandCampina Romania from 2000 to 2008, and Sole-Mizo, a member of the Bonafarm Group, from 2008 to 2022. Over the course of his career, he served on the boards of several Bonafarm subsidiaries across the agricultural and meat sectors, including Pick Zrt. and Bóly Zrt., and continues to advise Bonafarm's management to this day. He also serves as a board member of Debrecen Vagyonkezelő Zrt.
Gerbrant holds a degree in Geography from the University of Groningen and studied Economics in Reading and Málaga.
Originally from the Netherlands, Gerbrant is based in Hungary. Outside of work, he enjoys tennis and reading.
