Gerbrant has been working for Hodler Asset Management since 2023, in various roles. During 2023-2024 he focused on supporting the Romanian and Serbian poultry operations, as a member of the board of the local companies. In 2025 he oversaw the Serbian poultry operation and pushed the modernisation program. Nowadays Gerbrant is advising the founder of Hodler.
Before joining the team, between 2000-2008 he was CEO in Romania for the dairy company Royal Friesland Campina. After that he became CEO at Solemizo (from 2008-2022), also a dairy company and part of the Bonafarm Group. Over the years he served on the boards of several Bonafarm daughter companies in the agricultural or meat sector (Pick Zrt, Bóly Zrt) and remained until today active as an adviser to the Bonafarm management. Besides these FMCG activities, he is a member of the board of the Debrecen Vagyonkezelő Zrt.
Gerbrant studied Geography in Groningen (Holland), and Economics in Reading (UK) and Malaga (ESP).
Outside of work ,he plays tennis and likes to read. Gerbrant is Dutch but lives in Hungary.
